Guitar proj 1 'student'

There is a small non profit organization build out of a corner in the city of Manaus. The function of this organization is to create artizans and skilled craftmen from young children. Using specially certified wood taken from the jungle, these kids are taught how to make guitars from scratch and then taught how to play them. The details of this project are increadably sketchy especially because of the language barrier. Hopefully when I return I will be able to absorb more. This is the first Image in the series. After my stint in Boa Vista I will end up coming back here for a week to teach them how to use various computer programs and participate in what some are calling a cultural exchange. Truth be told, I think they are teaching me far more about culture than i could ever teach them.
